I offer the best possible ultrasound technology for exactly your symptoms.

My ultimate goal is to help you to find a way to get the best treatment, not just to have this or that procedure done.

This means, I look much longer and follow exactly your symptoms instead of doing the job and sending you home declaring “Everything is fine!” despite you are in pain, cannot eat, vomit or have any other kind of suffering.

Good medicine gets you free of suffering and doesn’t let you alone.

Of course, medical knowledge is limited but the limits are not certain specialties splitting a human being into isolated parts.

Instead, my approach bridges organs’ and specialties’ borders.

I look at all organs and all of your symptoms, may they traditionally belong to gastroenterology, nephrology, urology, gynecology, neurology, pediatrics, surgery, angiology, psychiatry, cardiology, orthopaedics, fetal medicine or dermatology.

Ultrasound is bringing together all of these specialties.

Functional colour Doppler ultrasound goes far beyond conventional ultrasound.

Ultrasound basically looks at the morphology in black and white images.

Colour Doppler ultrasound looks at movements. Streaming blood, peristalsis of the intestines, contraction of the ureters, voiding of the urinary or gall bladder, jets of cerebrospinal fluid, swinging of the heart valves, contraction of the heart’s atria and chambers, opening and closing of venous valves, vasomotion of the umbilical vein (which was, by the way, observed and measured in fetuses for the first time ever by our research group), movements of the diaphragm, gliding of the pleura – all these phenomena can be precisely described by means of colour Doppler ultrasound.

But we go further.

We developed the first sonographic method to quantify these movements – the PixelFlux technique.

This way we can measure and compare exactly how much blood is running into an organ, into a tissue and even into different branches of the vascular tree of an organ.

Better than with any other technique we can precisely evaluate the functional status of an organ and disorders affecting its blood supply.

Moreover, we can measure inflammation on site and measure the success or failure of treatments.

All this is done during one examination. I’m board-certified for all of these procedures. Thus, with one examination you get answers from many medical specialties.

But we don’t stop here. We repeat all of this under changing external conditions.

When your symptoms are related to digestion, I’ll examine you before, during and after a meal. If they depend on body posture, I’ll examine you in different horizontal positions, sitting, standing and even during or after exercises.

I’ll do examinations in different breathing positions, with full and empty bladder, with different positions of certain joints … and so on.

Finally, you will get a result that is a reliable and sound basis for treatment decisions.

I show you every detail of the examination on the screen while you are examined. I explain you all of my conclusions and I’ll give you a sketch of difficult anatomical scenarios.

I communicate all results to you and all referring physicians in a detailed report with all measurements and all relevant images.

This is functional ultrasound as I understand it – and patients from all over the world appreciate it.
