In our own patients (Sandmann/Scholbach) from 2005 to 12/3/2020, we observed the occurrence of combined vascular compression syndromes very frequently. Among them an unexpectedly high proportion of those with clinical evidence of connective tissue disease was found. A list of characteristic symptoms of genetic connective tissue diseases can be found here: Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Marfan syndrome.
MALS – Median arcuate ligament syndrome/Plexus coeliacus – Kompressionssyndrom/Dunbar Syndrom
SMAS – Wilkie-Syndrom /Superior mesenteric artery syndrome
NCS– lordogenetic left renal vein compression aka Nutcracker syndrome
MTS– May Thurner syndrome
